wow! i can't believe that you guys are nearly 1/7 of the way through your year! is it going by slow, fast or at a pleasant pace?
we are enjoying your amazing pictures and descriptive journal entries. i'm looking forward to your fiji update!
i hope all is going well. we were thinking of you when we heard about the tsunami and we looked at the map on your website to find out if it was anywhere near you two. of course, we were so very relieved that it was not.
be safe and have a wonderful time in fiji. we continue to keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
xo sarah and family

Hi Niels and Amy,
we also want to drop a note in your guestbook. Yesterday we had an Easternbrunch with our family including grandma van Dongen and we showed her your diary and the photo's. It's nice to make contact even if you are so far away. We get the idea that you are very relaxed and that you dont't miss your work. The photo's are magnificient and we will continue to follow your journey. We send you our regards, also from grandma (de oude oma) Hannie and Hans Wessling

How nice to have such that experience in Cook Islands! I kind of desire such that environment ...well, of course, I am working today (sat.) and tomorrow! Maybe, many of us, which includes me, forgot to be kind to others in this conpetitive society... Sounds like you walk a lot, too!! I bet it is hard to walk in such kind of climate, but is much nicer to do rather than riding a car to just look around... Pictures that you've updated just heal me...!

Hi, Happy Easter Greetings! Hope you both will have a happy celebration in the Cook Islands! Was happy (and relieved) to read your April entry. Glad that you did not suffer any ill effects from the tsunami that hit the Solomon Islands. Great news that you are meeting wonderful, friendly, and helpful people! Even protection and friendship from a dog named Ruff! Thinking of you often on your great adventure!
