That's such a bummer about not finding the trail... but the scene with the pigs sounds hysterical. :D

I hope Amy feels better soon!

Good luck with your next hike...

Just checked the site. Glad to know that things are going better. Enjoy all of that sunshine. We are still getting snow on and off. Very jealous. Have fun and be safe.

Hey guys, I hope you are doing well. Looks so beautiful where you are. You guys suck. I wish I could be there too. Maybe I have to come and visit. I just got back from Sydney after 4 weeks there. It was so nice and warm. Now it is miserable here in Seattle.

Thank you for calling! It was just by chance that I was home! I LOVE reading your journal. And the PICTURES TOO!! I check it everyday. I cannot believe the cargo ship story, but it did make me laugh.:-)
I think about you guys all the time. Enjoy the oasis that seem to have found!

yay! an update... and an upbeat one, at that! it sounds like you guys are finally in your element.

it has been fun to read the first few posts which started out with you both feeling pretty exhausted and it now sounds as if it is the south pacific that beckoned you from your rainy flat in seattle.

if i close my eyes, i can imagine the lagoon, the fish, the coral reefs and i can almost taste the wonderful flavors of the food as you have described them. it almost sounds like thai food (but much better, i'm sure).

one downside, naud is at work and i am at home but neither of us can view the pictures...

our thoughts and prayers are with you for safe travels and much rejuevanation of mind and spirit. not much of a feat in such a place!

xo sarah (and naud and annabelle)
